Emily Koning handles all family law cases including divorce, custody, and domestic violence matters for clients. Emily’s mission is to ensure her clients’ priorities are met and their voices are heard. She works with her clients to achieve their goals, advise them on how to protect themselves and their children, and present their cases to judges and magistrates in a clear, factor-by-factor manner.
Emily joined the firm in Summer of 2019. Prior to joining the team, Emily was an associate attorney handling family law cases in various jurisdictions of the State of Maryland. She also served as the judicial law clerk for Special Magistrate Andrea Kelly in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, where she learned firsthand the art of handling family law disputes.
Emily attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, during which she worked as the judicial intern for the Honorable Kendra Y. Ausby in the Family Division in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City and for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, Child in Need of Assistance (CINA) Division.
Emily resides in the Towson area with her husband and son. She enjoys home improvement projects, listening to and reading the news, and spending time with her family and friends.
